Sindhu’s Uneven Run Continues
PV Sindhu‘s uneven run continued on Wednesday, as she was eliminated in the first round of the Korea Open Super 500 tournament. Pai Yu-Po of Chinese Taipei beat her in three games.
In the opening round of the women’s singles, Pai Yu-Po emerged victorious over Sindhu, who currently holds the 17th rank in the world. With a score of 18-21, 21-10, and 13-21, Pai Yu-Po overcame Sindhu. There were 58 minutes in the game.
Indian Priyanshu Rajawat defeated Korean Choi Ji Hoon in straight games to go to the second round of the men’s singles competition.
