Fred to Fenerbahce: It’s Official!

Manchester United Agree to Sell Fred to Fenerbahce

On Friday, Manchester United and Fenerbahce both announced that a deal for Brazilian midfielder it had reached Fred. The Turkish squad and the English club agreed on a preliminary deal for €10 million ($10.9 million), with an additional €5 million in add-ons.

He will go to Istanbul on Saturday, where the medical checkup will take place. To complete the purchase, several conditions must be accepted by brazilizn midfielder, and international permission must be obtained.

During the summer, manager Erik ten Hag told Fred that Chelsea’s Mason Mount would likely take a key position away from him this season.

This Brazilizn decided not to participate in the American preseason tour. He took some time off to deal with a personal matter.

The 30-year-old attracted interest from Fulham, Galatasaray, and Saudi Pro League teams. But because Fenerbahce and United were able to come to an agreement on a cost, he will be joining them.

Fred Departs Manchester United After Five Seasons

2018 saw the arrival of Fred at Old Trafford by former manager Jose Mourinho. It was from Shakhtar Donetsk, and the deal cost £47 million ($59.7 million). He played 213 appearances for United over the course of five seasons, tallying 14 goals.

United is attempting to sell Dutch midfielder Donny van de Beek after Brazilizn midfielder left. Real Sociedad has been in touch with United, but according to sources with ESPN, the trade may not go as planned.
