Bayern Munich make second bid for Harry Kane

Right now, Real Madrid desperately needs a striker. After Cristiano Ronaldo departed in 2018, Karim Benzema became the club’s face and has scored the majority of the goals in the last five seasons.

The Frenchman has left the club, leaving a major vacuum to fill, leaving Los Blancos with only two possibilities. They have Joselu, who is on loan from Espanyol for the season, and Alvaro, an 18-year-old with no senior experience.

Real Madrid is now in need of a world-class striker to replace Benzema, but there haven’t been many recent speculations regarding a replacement.

They were prominently associated with one player, Harry Kane, during the summer transfer window. However, such linkages have diminished during the last few weeks.

Bayern Munich is becoming Kane’s most likely destination. Thomas Tuchel’s squad has launched a second approach to sign England’s captain.

Bayern Munich offers more than €80 million for Real Madrid’s target

According to Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich has made a second bid for Kane. The offer contains €80 million in addition to add-ons. The Englishman is keen to join the champions of the Bundesliga.

Given that Harry Kane’s current contract only has one year left, Tottenham Hotspur is in a difficult position. They have not yet decided whether to accept Bayern Munich‘s offer.

Kane may have been a great Benzema replacement, but Real Madrid are not interested in making a bid for him. The Kylian Mbappe transfer story has instead persisted this summer, with contradictory speculations about their intentions for the Frenchman.
