Arnaut Danjuma to Everton on loan

Arnaut Danjuma and Everton have verbally agreed on a loan transfer from Villarreal. The deal is still to be signed but is expected to be a straight loan move with no option to buy.

In January, Tottenham came in at the eleventh hour and stole Danjuma from Everton’s clutches. As a result, he spent the second part of the 2022-23 season in north London.

Danjuma, 26, is a Dutch international winger who joined Villarreal from Bournemouth in 2021. He scored 2 goals in 10 appearances for the Villarreal last season in LA LIGA. For the Spurs he scored one goal in 9 mathes in Premier League in 2022-23 season.

Everton are keen to add Danjuma to their attacking options after a disappointing season in which they finished 17th in the Premier League. The Toffees have also been linked with Anthony Elanga of Manchester United and Wilfried Gnonto of Leeds United.

Danjuma would be a valuable addition to Everton’s attack

Danjuma is a versatile player who can play on either wing or as a striker. He is known for his pace, dribbling skills and finishing ability. He would be a valuable addition to Everton’s attack, which struggled to score goals last season.

The loan move would be a good deal for both Everton and Villarreal. Everton would get to add a talented player to their squad without having to commit to a long-term deal. Villarreal would be able to keep Danjuma for the rest of the season while they look to sell him permanently in the summer.

The deal is still subject to a medical and personal terms, but it is expected to be completed in the coming days. Danjuma would be Everton’s second signing of the summer after the arrival of Ashley Young on a free transfer.

Danjuma’s arrival would be a major boost for Everton

Danjuma is a proven goalscorer in the Premier League and he would be a major boost for Everton’s attack. He is also a versatile player who can play on either wing or as a striker, which would give new manager Sean Dyche more options.

Everton’s attack was one of their biggest weaknesses last season and they need to improve in that area if they want to challenge for European qualification next season. Danjuma’s arrival would be a major step in the right direction.

Everton are also considering other options for their attack

In addition to Danjuma, Everton are also considering other options for their attack. They have shown interest in Anthony Elanga of Manchester United and Wilfried Gnonto of Leeds United.

Elanga is a young and talented winger who has impressed at Manchester United this season. He is versatile and can play on either wing or as a striker. Gnonto is a young Italian striker who has been linked with a move to the Premier League. He is a fast and powerful player who would add another dimension to Everton’s attack.

Everton are expected to be active in the transfer market this summer and they are looking to add some quality to their attack. Danjuma, Elanga and Gnonto are all potential targets and they would all be good additions to the Toffees squad.
