The USA is set to host the Copa America 2024 as a crucial element in their preparations for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which they will co-host with their neighbors, Canada and Mexico.
In 2016, the USA had its inaugural chance to host the competition, being re-invited to compete as part of a unified tournament involving nations from CONCACAF and CONMEBOL.

When Will Start Copa America 2024?
The 2024 Copa America begins on June 20 and ends on July 14 of that same year. Argentina, the defending champions, will play in the competition’s opening match at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. It automatically assigned them to Group A of the tournament.
Host Cities of Copa America 2024
Conmebol has revealed the 14 host cities and the whole schedule of matches for the 2024 Copa América, which takes place from June 20 to July 14 across the United States.
In addition to quarterfinal play in Arlington, Houston, Las Vegas, and Glendale. There will be two semifinals held in MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, and Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
In earlier news, CONMEBOL declared that Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia, will host the tournament’s first match. Inglewood, Santa Clara, Las Vegas, Orlando, Kansas City, Missouri, and Kansas City, Kansas are the other host towns.
How many teams will participate in Copa America in 2024?
Ten teams from CONMEBOL and six from CONCACAF, which includes North and Central America and the Caribbean, will compete in 32 matches during the June 20–July 14 event.
