He started his journey as a pro.

Nick started this season with Brisbane International. He lost against James Duckworth in the qualifying round. After that, Nick Kyrgios lost in the Melbourne Open 2013 qualifying round.

In the 2013 Australian Boys’ Open, he came out with grace and won the title. It was the best achievement of his career still in 2013.

2018

First time won Brisbane International

Nick Kyrgios opened this season with Brisbane International. Kyrgios defeated his fellow mate and won the match.

Next, he kicked out Alexandr Dolgopolov and Grigor Dimitrov and booked the ticket for the final. In the finale, Nick defeated Ryan Harrison and stamped the authority.

Nick bounced back in the Stuttgart Open. He reached the semifinal. Federer broke the dream in the semifinal.

First time won against Andy Murray

Kyrgios competed in the Queen’s Club Championships after Stuttgart. Kyrgios won over Murray after several attempts and reached the semifinal.

Marin Cilic knocked him out in the semifinal. In Wimbledon, he could not get up to the mark. Cincinnati Masters, the US Open, and China Open Nick had no success this year.

Nick could not do better results in Canada Masters and Cincinnati Masters. Kyrgios got a penalty in the Cincinnati Masters for his behavior. He could not get a fruitful result in the US Open.

2020

Semifinalist of ATP Cup

Nick Kyrgios began this season with the ATP Cup. He won against Jan-Lennard Struff and Stefanos Tsitsipas through a round robin.

After that, Nadal beat Kyrgios at the 2020 Australian Open. They first competed in the Indian Wells Masters in 2022. There, Nadal also defeated Kyrgios.

In the Wimbledon 2022, Nadal walked over Kyrgios in the semifinal for the first time in history.

Nick Kyrgios Vs. Roger Federer

They have met eight times now. Kyrgios faced Federer in 2015 after starting his senior career. For the first time, he faced Federer ATP Masters Madrid in the 2nd round and won the game in 6(1)-7,7-6(5),7-6(12).

For the first time, he beat Federer. In 2017, at ATP Masters Indian Wells, Federer won the match without smashing a ball. Kyrgios withdrew from the tournament because of his illness.

Next month in the Miami Open, Federer beat Kyrgios 6(9),6(9)-7, 7-6(5), and reached the semifinal.

After that, Federer beat again and again in the US Open and Laver Cup in the same year. In 2019, Nick last met Federer and again lost in Laver Cup. 

Nick Kyrgios Vs. Andrew Murray

Nick vs. Murray is always a sensational faceoff. They met at the 2014 ATP MASTERS 1000. In their first faceoff, Murray showed his class and beat young Kyrgios 6-2,6-2.

After that, in 2017, his ATP Ranking was 21. Nick was 35th in the ATP ranking in 2018. He was 30th in the ATP ranking in 2019. In 2020, his ranking went down a bit and became 45.

Nick’s performance went down a lot in 2021. As a result, his ATP ranking is 93. His performance in 2022 improved a lot. Now his ATP ranking is 45.

During the Miami Open, Nick Kyrgios erupted in an ugly meltdown, sparking more controversy in the tennis world. After a string of code infractions in a straight-sets loss to Jannik Sinner.

The Australian star passionately berated the chair umpire and suffered a game of punishment.

In a rage, he addressed chair umpire Carlos Bernardes. In response to Kyrgios, Bernardes said he thought the Australian was talking to someone in the crowd about him.

A code violation and game penalty resulted as Kyrgios smashed his racquet multiple times by the side of the court.

Wimbledon 2022

In the wake of his first-round Wimbledon victory over Paul Jubb, Nick Kyrgios had been fined $10,000 for spitting at a spectator.

He claims the fans were disrespectful throughout the game, which led to the incident after the winning point. Although the incident was under investigation, Kyrgios appeared unapologetic.

2019 Italian Open

He received a game penalty for unsportsmanlike conduct against Casper Ruud. He flung his racquet onto the clay court in rage, kicked his water bottle, then hurled a chair onto the court, drawing gasps from the audience before yelling expletives.

As a result, he was disqualified and got the penalty.
